Kitty
Campbell-Laird
Kitty
is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in human factors
in aviation at Purdue University. Her research focuses on
sociolinguistics, communications, and aviation English. She
has served as an instructor for Purdue's Oral English Proficiency
Program and assisted with the recording of the department's
computer-based proficiency test and its accompanying tutorial
CD.
Kitty is an instrument rated pilot, certified manager of the
American Association of Airport Executives, judge for the
National Intercollegiate Flying Association, and member of
the Ninety-Nines, AOPA, EAA, and WAI.
