My bio is as follows...
After having spent eleven years as a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines, I decided to make the leap from the back of a cockpit door to the "other side'....
Obtaining my flight ratings along with all Flight Instructor Certificates, I spent 3 and one half years instructing in Minneapolis to Ft Lauderdale...

Finally got "the big break" and spent 2 years "freight dogging it" for Mountain Air Cargo(a FedEx feeder) in the right seat of a Fokker 27...Then spent the next two years enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the fun of flying the DeHavilland Dash8 for Horizon Airlines, until taking a job back on the east coast...My first Captain position came out of this and immensely enjoyed my time flying the Dash8 for Shuttle America....In July of 2001, I was hired by Spirit Airlines where I've spent the last 6 and one half years, initially flying an MD80 until the company transitioned to an all Airbus fleet of A319's and 321's...I currently find myself living and being based out of beautiful Fort Lauderdale, Florida where I spend my days driving with the top down, taking my boat out with friends and organizing and participating in many varied activities with the local Purdue alumni club (BoilersontheBeach.com)..... |
