Jenny
joined The Ninety-Nines in 1999, not long after earning
her private pilot’s license. She is a third generation
pilot whose father taught her to fly beginning at age six.
She holds an ATP and commercial licenses in airplanes, seaplanes
and helicopters, as well as a CFII and a G1159A type rating.
Jenny has been actively involved in the Pro-99s Network and
the Professional Pilot Leadership Initiative (PPLI), serving
as a Senior Navigator and currently as a PPLI Mentoring Coordinator
and Assistant Program Leader. She is employed as a Gulfstream
III pilot in the Dallas area and also flies as a contract pilot
on a Piper Cheyenne, a Cessna 185, and an MDH 500E helicopter.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University
in 1998, and a Master of Arts in Middle East Politics from
Louisiana State University in 2001. Jenny is married to Chris
Higgs, and they reside in Corsicana, Texas.
