Teresa Walton
Born in khaki diapers at Walter Reed, Washington, DC,
I lived in four states before the age of five. Having added
five more
to the list, we've settled in the delightfully rural town
of Barclaysville, NC. Although still under 500 hours, I
earned
my pilot's license in Hampton Roads, VA, trained for my instrument
in southern New Jersey and have had the great fortune of
flying a
cub on floats at 300 AGL underneath the airspace at PHL.
I've recently taken a refresher IFR ground course (offered
by fellow
99, Margaret Riddle) and hope to use an IPC for my next BFR.
Finally,
I have attained level 10 of the Wings program. The
low time is inversely proportionate to the travel experienced
for my day job as an independent computer consultant.
Thank
goodness for the Ambassador Chapter of The 99s! Perhaps after
all these years, there is some small way in which I can
serve.
