Sue Williams -- Future Woman Pilot
 I never imagined I would fly, let alone want to be a pilot.
Growing up, no one in my family was interested or involved
in aviation.
On
a family vacation four years ago, our lives were forever
changed. My husband and I fell in love with
flying
during an aerial tour of Orlando. He is now a helicopter
pilot working on his commercial license and an A&P.
I’m
working towards my private in planes, and my goal is to
continue pursuing higher ratings and getting experience.
I’m
also passionate about exposing the young and old to aviation,
and encouraging
them to give the skies a try. My two young sons have caught
the bug and tell people they hope to be helicopter and
plane pilots like mom and dad! Our family is attempting
to start
an aviation business in our area.
